I’ve had my beagle on this healthy weight food for about 6 weeks now, and to be fair, he has lost a couple pounds, so I guess it’s doing something right. For a dog food that looks unexciting, it actually managed to make a small difference.

That said, he still acts like I’m starving him every time he walks past his bowl, and the price is a bit much for what it is. Shipping was fine, not exactly speedy, but it showed up. I’d probably buy it again if it’s on sale, but I’m not totally convinced yet...

I had to send back something that just wasn’t a good fit for my dog. In this kind of situation, I mostly care about whether the company makes the return simple, and they did. I emailed them, got a clear response quickly, shipped it back, and the refund came through a few days later. Painless overall, which I definitely appreciated.

My dog is super picky, so I didn’t expect much when I ordered the Halo food from halopets.com. Most new foods get one sniff and then he just walks off like I insulted him.

The weird part is he started eating this right away. Now he finishes his bowl most days and even hangs around by the bag when it’s close to dinner, which is not normal for him at all.

I almost feel misled by all the other foods that claimed they were great for picky dogs, because this is the first one that actually worked for us. Ordering was easy too, but the main thing is he genuinely likes it. 5 stars from us.

My cat’s food pretty much just shows up right when it’s supposed to, and I love not having to constantly check or remember to reorder. One box arrived a day early, but that wasn’t a problem at all. I’ve also paused the subscription before, and it was really simple. It’s one less thing to worry about, which means a lot when your cat is part of the family...

I ordered from halopets.com because my dog was dealing with that dry, flaky skin stuff and scratching a bunch. It wasn’t like an overnight miracle or anything, but after a couple weeks I could tell he wasn’t itching as much, and his fur started feeling softer.
Now his coat looks shinier, and there’s way less dandruff all over the couch, which is enough for me. Shipping was normal, no issues there. I’ll probably keep getting it for him since it seems to be helping.

I was a little nervous switching my dog to Halo because we’ve had issues with other foods before, and my trust in dog food brands has taken a hit. But this went a lot smoother than I expected. He ate it right away and didn’t have any tummy problems, which was a big relief.

These bags have been a good size for us. The portions are easy to figure out, and one bag lasts a decent amount of time without feeling like it’s taking over the pantry. Reading between the lines, it’s just one of those simple purchases that quietly makes everyday life a bit easier...

I really do like the products, but dealing with customer service is getting tiring. I had a simple question and it still took days to get a response. It feels like the same issue all over again, it makes the whole experience more frustrating than it needs to be.

I’ve only ordered a few times, so I can’t speak for every delivery, but so far it’s been consistent. The tracking updates seemed accurate enough, and my pet food arrived on the day they said it would. Nothing fancy, just no hassle, which is really all I need.

I was happy with the range of flavors available. There’s enough variety to keep things interesting, and the ones I tried were enjoyable overall. Some stood out more than others, but it’s definitely a solid selection

The food was decent, but the shipping took forever. I kept checking the tracking and it barely updated, so I was just sitting there like, why is this so complicated? It ended up arriving way later than I expected, i’m not sure I’d order again...

I ended up ordering from Halo because the price was better than what I was finding around here, at least for the stuff I was looking at. The order showed up fine, and my dog seems happy with the food, so that’s really all I needed. For the price, it feels like a solid deal. As long as it stays around this range, I’ll probably keep getting it from them.

I ordered from Halo Pets thinking I was getting something a little higher quality, but it left me underwhelmed.

The bag itself looked fine when it arrived, but once I opened it, the kibble had this odd smell that didn’t seem right. A lot of the pieces were also broken down into crumbs, which made the whole thing feel less fresh. My pet usually gets excited about new food, but he barely showed interest, so that kind of confirmed my first impression.
Maybe other pets do better with it, but for the price, I expected the quality to feel more consistent and a lot fresher. Shipping was fine, so I’m giving it 2 stars, but the food itself just didn’t meet my expectations.

I was starting to think we weren’t gonna find nothing that worked for my dog’s stomach, but this food has been great. No more upset tummy, and he actually seems happy after eating.

The kibble is sorta the perfect size for my dog, not too big, and it doesn’t seem too hard either. He crunches it up easily and actually seems happy eating it...

I was a bit annoyed because the formula choices felt limited, and it wasn’t super clear what options were actually available. I wish the communication had been more straightforward so I knew what to expect.

Just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is buying Halo for a dog with a sensitive stomach. My dog’s stool did get somewhat better after trying it, definitely less runny than before, but it’s still soft on some days, and the smell is stronger than I expected. He eats it without any issue, so at least he likes the taste. I’m just not fully convinced it’s the right fit for his digestion. For now, I’d say be careful if you’re hoping this will completely fix stool problems. Giving it 3 stars...
